Sliding Fee Options

  • If you are a current client of Terri Delaney, please know that she is willing to work with you if your financial circumstances have changed. Below is an explanation of how Terri handles sliding fee in a way that allows for people who have limited access to financial resources to be able to receive quality therapy services.

  • The full fee is the actual cost of therapy. This is for folks who have enough money to meet their needs and can easily pay for wants as well.

In 2023, that is $200/ 50 min session and $300 for the 75 min sessions.

  • The sliding fee/discount fee is for those who are able to meet their needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for counseling may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship. If you are struggling to conquer debt or build savings or move away from paycheck to paycheck living but have access to steady income and are not spending most of your time thinking about meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, child care, etc., you belong here.

If you are a current client with Terri Delaney, you can choose your fee within the range below based on how close you are to the serious hardship category (e.g. paying the lower fee if you almost fit in the serious hardship category, and the higher end if you do have some money beyond basic needs).

In 2023, that is $130 to $175 for the 50 min session and $175 to $225 for the 75-80 min sessions.

  • The serious hardship/sliding fee price is for those who struggle to meet basic needs (food/ shelter/ medical care, etc) and paying for this service would be a significant hardship.

    In 2023, that is $50 - $75 for the 50 min session and $75 - $125 for the 75 min sessions.
